Review: Very Poor Service
I spent hours troubleshooting and never got the issues resolved. Phone service faded in and out. I finally canceled, and still have the email where I requested cancelation, but they just charged me for a second year and gave all kinds of excuses. A very dishonest company. Don't sign up with them.

Review: Don't do it!
If you have an issue (like an outage) and you call customer service, they email someone. Whatever issue you have, be ready to deal with it for at least 5 to 7 days. YES I said DAYS. Even if they (Joiphone) did something wrong, your business or home phone is out of service, and any caller thinks you are out of business, or left the country, when in fact you have paid for a year in advance. The customer service people speak English, but that doesn’t do much good when you are talking to a rock.

Review: Joi Phone is not at all a joi in anybody's life.
We called this joi phone people on 9 th dec for a phone

connection and from that day our billing started. We got

joi phone's router after 5 days of calling. We connected

that on the next day. We can make calls very well no

problems in that. But cannot receive calls. We called the

customer service i think 5 time. but they are still unable

to resolve the issue. And not ready to give the refund

too. I will say to everyone beware of this joi phone.

Customer service people are rude too. I still dont know

how to start my phone's incoming calls. I have been

charged the day i called them. VERYYY POOR SERVICE.

HAVE told my every friends about this. So BEWARE...

Review: Best Deal I found
The best VoIP provider I tested. I have switched 3 times before I got JoiPhone. 1) Fast shipping. I ordered service at 5PM and got a brand new Linksys router (yes router, not just skimpy adapter) next day 2) The moved my number from VoIP.com in 1.5 weeks 3) Support guys SKEAK ENGLISH, and are more then eager to help 4) Quality is by far the best. 5) Price: I got 50% off and pay $8.95/mo for Unlimited phone line. Stop hating, this is the best value out there.

Review: avoid like the plague
I didn't even get what I paid for, even though they appeared to be the cheapest VOIP out there. Customer service is horrible. Technical support is worse. They misrepresented their abilities and, in fact, are unable to support their own service. Their website is also chintzy. Calls to them for help get dropped/disconnected much of the time, too. Because of this, they don't even know you're trying to reach them. They are usually unresponsive or incapable of fixing problems when you do get through. Finally after five months of crap, I signed up for another service, VOiPGO. The new service (VOiPGO) put in a request to port my number in January 2008, which is the one I've had for several years and well over a thousand people know to reach me at. I'm writing this in May of 2008 and Joiphone STILL hasn't ported my number to the new provider so that I can cancel Joiphone altogether. I'm hoping my complaint to the FCC will yield results. SAVE YOURSELF--AVOID THIS INCOMPETENT COMPANY!
