| Review: | VONICS IS A TERRIBLE CHOICE I left with them holding some of my prepaid money. Their service, website, and phones go out for days. they do not answer e mail or phone service messages. Don't even think about it. I switched to Phone power. so far, so good. look there first. Comments [ 0 ] |

| Review: | Can't Imagine a Worse VOIP Company Poor Service, Unreliable Service, Frequent Outages, No Customer Service, No Technical Support, No Email Support, No Voicemail Notification, Caller Name usually doesn't work (but Caller ID does). Too expensive at half the price. As a SunRocket refugee (a great company that had great service - I still wish they hadn't gone out of business), I signed up with Vonics after reading very positive reviews on VOIP review sites. From the beginning it's been a nightmare, but I thought their problems were intially from adding too many customers at once due to SunRocket's sudden demise. After a month or so, their service did seem to improve, but not for long. Service got worse and worse, outages increased in frequency, then features stopped working altogether (like Voicemail notification and Voicemail to email and on their website). Occassionally I could actually reach someone on the phone, but not for the last 9 months or so. They claim they are located in San Francisco, but every company person I spoke to sounded like they were from India! I had signed up for a 15 month pre-paid plan (as did many SunRocket refugees), but the 15 months are almost up and I truly don't think ANY of their customers will stay with them. How can they possibly stay in business as I know of NO ONE who will renew with this company! I expect this company to go belly up soon, or they will reorganize under some other company name. Don't sign up for this company because even if they do somehow manage to stay in business, you won't be happy with NO Phone Support (I've stopped even trying to call because you NEVER reach a Live person and they don't call back if you leave a message), No Email Support (won't answer emails to support), No Voicemail notification (or Voicemails sent to email or available online like you used to get), rarely do you get Caller Name with your Caller ID (like you're supposed to), and Frequent Outages to your phone service and their website. Like I said before -- Stay Away from Vonics Digital. Comments [ 0 ] |

| Review: | Avoid Vonics Totally I got their phone adapter and hooked it up.. calls worked with static for about 3 days then the service went down. I called them and called them for about a month.. finally left an email ticket for support. one guy calls me back (on my cell of course)says hes going to change some settings and will call back. Never called back and phone never came up. I email again. 5 days later they email me saying to send them the mac address of the box they sent me. which i dont know why they dont have a record of what they sent me to begin with? I moved my phone service to another provider and had the number ported.. i sent them a cancellation email. and they gave me an rma number to send the box back.. i sent it back.. they never refunded me my unused time based on the monthly rate like their site says they should.. they are bunch of crooks. STAY AWAY!!!! Comments [ 0 ] |

| Review: | Bad news I have had the service for almost a yr. Service has been intermittent, sometimes out for a day, sometimes more than a week. Voice mail doesn't work. In theory, the system can save a lot of money but my wife has boycotted any other VOIP, based on our sunrocket and vonics experience. Comments [ 0 ] |

| Review: | Very Very Unreliable I prepaid for a year of service and I am on my 9th month. I have been getting disruption of service at least once a month and each time lasted over 3 days. The disruption I am talking about is a total blackout meaning their own line, websites, CS all go down. After 24 hours of no service, they would e-mail a notice of disrutption via a gmail e-mail account! They have the worst reliability among all VOIP providers. Avoid them. Comments [ 0 ] |
